"There are some people who still feel threatened by strong women. That's their problem. It's not mine". Gloria Allred
The Queen of Swords is a strong woman who does not back down, or give in. Being a Queen of Air and the mind. she knows what she wants, doesn't ask permission and doesn't wait to see what others would think. Her advice to us is to take action and make decisions for ourselves.. Be strong.
The Eight of Cups in the Deviant Tarot sends a clear message we are done and ready to move on. Out with the old, in with the new. In the traditional RW card, our hero abandons his path for a detour, so with that deck we could interpret his actions as quitting. But here the eight is saying "I'm not doing that anymore" and taking control. We are using the strength of the Queen to say no and stand up for ourselves. Our emotions (Water) represented by The Cups, finally spur us into action using the strength of our intellect (Air) and the Swords.
Be done with what no longer serves your highest good.
